Bio: Amelia is a performer born and raised in Edmonton. With eight years of go-go dancing experience, burlesque quickly stole her heart. She infuses every routine with her love of dance, creating performances that range from sultry to downright silly.
Espresso: Amelia founded Espresso Burlesque after recognizing a shared desire among many performers for a structured, supportive path into the industry. With a deep passion for teaching and mentorship, she focuses on helping dancers build confidence and step onto the stage with their best foot forward. What began as a vision for empowerment has grown into a vibrant community, and Amelia remains endlessly grateful for the journey and every performer who’s been part of it.

Bio: Kim discovered her love for dance as an adult in 2022, where she first learned to embrace her curves and confidence. Joining Espresso in Season 2 (2024) has helped her keep growing — exploring burlesque, self-expression, and building even more confidence. She's constantly inspired by the boldness, artistry, and imagination of her fellow performers, and hopes to one day take the stage solo. Her stage name is still percolating — slowly taking shape like the perfect brew, built from curves, growing confidence, and the story she's writing for herself.
Espresso: When dancers join Espresso, many come just to try a burlesque class and step out of their comfort zones — and what they often find is so much more: a supportive, inspiring community. From the start, Amelia makes everyone feel welcome, seen, and cared for. She has an incredible ability to include everyone—regardless of experience, background, or comfort level—and encourages dancers to challenge themselves, grow, and believe in what they're capable of, all while keeping things fun and full of laughter. Amelia is not only an extraordinarily talented performer and teacher, but also a truly one-of-a-kind human being--warm-hearted, genuine, and endlessly encouraging. Espresso isn't just a dance group--it's a space to grow, laugh, move, and express yourself.
