Meet Amelia de Ville
Amelia de Ville is the owner and founder of Espresso Burlesque. Amelia is a professional dancer whose journey began with a pair of heels and a spark of curiosity. She launched her career as a gogo dancer in Calgary’s nightlife before taking her talents to stages across Western Canada. For the past eight years, she’s danced everywhere from clubs to festivals in Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver—where she found herself surrounded by mentors and peers who helped shape her into the artist she is today.
Returning home to Edmonton, she felt the absence of that artistic energy—and in that space, something new began to brew. With a growing love for burlesque and a passion for teaching, Amelia created Espresso Burlesque: a program built for exploration, expression, and empowerment.
Espresso is more than just dance—it’s mentorship, it’s community, it’s a celebration of self. Whether you're stepping into the spotlight for the first time or reconnecting with a part of yourself you’ve forgotten, Espresso is here to guide you, hype you, and help you fall in love with movement—and with yourself—all over again.
Now, she’s teaching others that confidence isn’t something you find—it’s something you build, and she’s here to help.
